Jack Manhood was scouted at a bustop in Central London around 3AM and since then he’s been booking shows at London Fashion Week and plenty of editorials. According to Jack the best advantage of modeling is probably traveling, getting to see the world and getting paid for it! But of course there’s a catch it can get kinda of lonely even with other models around – they may not exactly be the crew your used too. As for his personal style Jack was definitely up front about not being the average model. “I ain’t met another model who is like me, the way I dress, speak and come across … I dont think a lot of people know how to take me.”

“People assume that we just stand in front of a camera and look pretty, naaaa theres a lot more too it. I would love someone out of modeling to try it for a couple of weeks and let them realize lol… another thing, people think we can get any woman we want haha thats the biggest lie I’ve ever heard. If I could I would but I cant lol I wish it was true haha.”
Here’s a look thats extra laid back. What pulls it all together is the trench coat that adds some definition to the slouchy look. Then there’s the neutral palette making for sum’n pretty easy on the eyes. Not to mention the Rick Owen’s sneakers which, could have been the basis for this outfit. Making sweatpants not look “bummish” might not be easy for everyone but if you ask me it’s worth a try if you nail it like this.
The color coordination in this rough and tumble look is the business. Jewelry designer Philip Crangi balances the vibrant colors with the faded grey. The boldness of the jacket brings out a tough guy feel while the sunglasses add a modern twist. Strip it all down though, and most of this look is made up of essentially menswear staples. The key here is to mix the staples with spotlight pieces making for a fly result that commands attention.
I haven’t seen Heron in person since his “Young and the Banging” gallery show in 2008. Even so I can always be certain he’s out there looking extra sharp. Heron buttoned up the top two buttons and let the rest hang out – it’s a nice way to expose a complete look.
I’m feelin these NNFW pants by Brandon Rials (BLRdsgn). The designer, whose past work has been focused on designing packaging and branding identities effortlessly transitions into apparel design. The pants feature a slim, straight, low rise cut and have articulated knees, hidden seat pockets, and a drawstring bottom hem.
